Watch the changing light across the grassland. Cook with ingredients you find nearby. Spend a day exploring eastern Hokkaido, or stay beside the window and let the day unfold.

The villa is reserved entirely for your group. We recommend 2–4 guests to enjoy the space and quiet; the maximum occupancy is 8.

• Two bedrooms, each with two semi-double beds.
• A glass-walled lounge, wood stove, kitchen, bath, laundry facilities and Wi-Fi.
• The bedrooms do not have blackout curtains. Morning light is part of the stay.

Rates and length of stay

The base rate is for the whole villa and is the same for 1–4 guests. Extra beds are charged separately. One-night stays are available, with reduced nightly rates for stays of two nights or more. Rates vary by date and plan; please check the official booking page for your dates.

A kitchen, and something from the farm.

There is no regular meal service. The kitchen has cookware, tableware, rice and basic seasonings, so you can prepare meals at your own pace.

One welcome-food set is provided per stay: Takeshita Farm cheese, LETTER SOUP, milk, butter and whey bread. This is a set of ingredients to enjoy during your stay, rather than a served breakfast. A farm meal kit is also available as a paid dinner option when booking.

Shops and restaurants in central Nakashibetsu are about 20 minutes away by car. Please pick up groceries before you arrive.

Getting here.

We are in Nakashibetsu, in eastern Hokkaido, Japan, about 20 minutes by car from Nemuro Nakashibetsu Airport.

A rental car is useful for shopping and exploring the region. Please arrange your vehicle in advance. Nakashibetsu does not have a railway station.

Airport pickup

Selected autumn and winter plans include return transfers from Nakashibetsu Airport and a Silent Drive experience in the surrounding area. These plans are for stays of two nights or more, for up to four guests, and must be booked at least seven days before arrival. Transfers are not included with every booking; please check the plan details.

Arriving at the villa

Check-in is from 15:00 to 17:00; check-out is by 10:00. There are few streetlights nearby, so we recommend arriving while it is still light. Allow extra time for winter weather and road conditions.
